The Day of the LORD

LISTEN HERE to Vassula speaking about the DAY of the LORD

For those who don't know who Vassula is , she is Greek Orthodox , married to a Lutheran, with two children, and currently resides in Switzerland I think.

She holds an office of a prophet, in the church, and she is a mystic . She is obedient to the Pope , yes . She has to in following Jesus as all the other saints did when it came to church matters .
I had the pleasure of meeting her when she came to Calgary to give a talk .

Restore us O LORD - Second Pentecost

I tell you solemnly: I will send you My Holy Spirit in full force on all mankind, and as a foresign I will display portents in heaven as never before; there will be a second Pentecost so that My Kingdom on earth (Jesus means the Church) will be restored; many of you ask: "when? when will all these things take place?" it is not for anyone to know times or dates that the Father has decided by His own authority; in the past, your ancestors killed all those who foretold My Coming; and now, in your generation, you are doing the same; for how long are you to resist My Holy Spirit of Grace?

Second Pentecost
Acts 2:17
'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh

I grew up in water

Having been born again at Baptism. I am a fish in water symbolizing life in the spirit . Literally I can swim pretty good.
Question: "If you're born again, do you have two belly buttons ?"
Me: lol No. We throve through the umbilical cord the same way we have an umbilical cord that unites us to Our Father in which Rivers of Life flow into us.

Out of all the Church Fathers I will quote Tertullian on baptism. One of my favorites.

Tertullian

“Happy is our sacrament of water, in that, by washing away the sins of our early blindness, we are set free and admitted into eternal life. . . . But we, little fishes after the example of our [Great] Fish, Jesus Christ, are born in water, nor have we safety in any other way than by permanently abiding in water. So that most monstrous creature, who had no right to teach even sound doctrine, knew full well how to kill the little fishes—by taking them away from the water!” (Baptism 1 – 203 AD)

In John 3:5 Jesus says, “Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

The Catechism of the Catholic Church says (CCC 1213) “Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.”
